TC CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES IN SHELBY COUNTY MEET, GOBLE INVITE. Triton Central’s cross country teams doubled up on Saturday, racing in both the Goble Invitational and the Shelby County Meet at Morristown. Several Tigers turned in strong performances, including personal bests. On the boys’ side, Max Tupper led the way, finishing 21st overall in the invitational and placing 7th in the county standings. For the girls, Audrey Morris had a standout day, placing 14th in the invitational and 6th in the county while also setting a new personal record, cutting an impressive 1 minute, 32 seconds off her best time. Reese Kelley also posted a personal best, trimming a second from her fastest time. She finished 18th in the invitational and 8th in county competition. The Tigers will return to action Saturday at the Shelbyville Golden Bear Invitational.
