TC GIRLS SOCCER SHUTS OUT PERRY MERIDIAN. The Triton Central girls soccer team continued its strong start to the season with a 5-0 victory over Perry Meridian on Monday night. Rylee Pruitt scored twice to lead the Tigers’ attack. Ariel Walker, Brynne Aukerman, and Maddie Burnett each added a goal. Goalkeeper Cheyenne Allen recorded her fifth shutout of the season as the defense held firm throughout the match. With the win, Triton Central’s varsity record improves to 4-1-1. In the junior varsity contest, the Tigers stayed unbeaten with a 3-0 win. Taytem Robey, Alina Kahler, and Dannahi Lopez all scored to lift TC to 5-0 on the year. Triton Central returns to action Thursday at Shelbyville. The JV match begins at 5:30 PM, followed by the varsity game at 7 PM.
