TC GIRLS SOCCER ENDS SEASON IN REGIONAL SEMIFINAL. The Triton Central girls soccer team saw its postseason run come to an end Wednesday night, falling to Greencastle 2-0 at home in the IHSAA Regional semifinal. After capturing the IHSAA Sectional #42 championship Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Greenwood Christian, the Tigers returned home looking to continue their postseason journey. However, Greencastle scored twice to secure the victory and advance to the regional championship. Triton Central battled throughout the contest but was unable to find the back of the net against the Tiger Cubs. The loss brings the Tigers' season to a close with a 10-9 overall record. TC's postseason run included a sectional championship, highlighted by a semifinal shutout victory over Indianapolis Lutheran and a championship win over Greenwood Christian.
