TC SOFTBALL LOSES TO INDIAN CREEK. Triton Central softball came up short in both games of a conference doubleheader Wednesday night against Indian Creek Braves softball on the road. In game one, the Triton Central Tigers softball battled until the final inning but fell just short in a 5-4 loss. Game two saw another competitive effort from Triton Central, but the Braves pulled away late for a 10-6 victory. With the two losses, Triton Central moves to 10-7 overall and 6-4 in Hoosier Legends Conference play. The Tigers will now shift their focus to the Shelby County Softball Tournament on Saturday morning at Waldron. Triton Central will open tournament play against Morristown Yellow Jackets softball at 9 AM, with the winner advancing to face Waldron in the championship game following game one.
