TC BOYS GOLF BEATS BEECH GROVE. Triton Central continued its strong stretch of play Monday night, earning a convincing victory over Beech Grove at Sarah Shank Golf Course. The Tigers posted an impressive team score of 165, well ahead of Beech Grove’s 218. Colton Ayres led the way for Triton Central with a stellar round of 39, earning medalist honors and finishing as the top golfer of the match. The Tigers also received strong performances from Hayden Beaver and Max Crouse, who each carded rounds of 41 to tie for second overall. Corbin Beaver added a 44 to give Triton Central four golfers at 44 or better, helping the Tigers cruise to the team win. Jackson Faust contributed a 48, while Ryder Trimble rounded out the lineup with a 52. The Tigers will look to keep their momentum rolling Tuesday night when they travel to Hawk’s Tail Golf Course to face Greenfield-Central. Tee time is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
