BOYS GOLF VS. MONROVIA (4/30)

TC BOYS GOLF WINS VS MONROVIA. Triton Central delivered one of its strongest performances of the young season Thursday night, earning a home victory over Monrovia at The Links Golf Club. The Tigers’ varsity “White” team posted a winning score of 177, comfortably ahead of Monrovia’s 194. Leading the way for Triton Central was Max Crouse, who earned medalist honors with an outstanding round of 41. Crouse set the tone early and helped the Tigers take control of the match on their home course. Hayden Beaver and Colton Ayres each turned in strong rounds of 44, tying for third overall and giving Triton Central a solid top-three finish. Ryder Trimble added a 48 to round out the scoring for the winning lineup. Triton Central’s “Green” squad finished with a team score of 214, highlighted by Corbin Beaver’s 45. Grant Long contributed a 52, while Seth Richardson (57), Austin McVey (60), Luke Dunn (60), and Jacob Rayfield (61) completed the group. On the junior varsity side, the Tigers continued their strong play. The JV “White” team finished first with a 115, led by Nolan Murray’s 54. The JV “Green” team followed with a 123, with Maddox Ralston and Keegan Canter contributing rounds of 61 and 62. With the win, Triton Central continues to build momentum as the season progresses. The Tigers will be back in action Monday night at Beech Grove, competing at Sarah Shank Golf Course with a scheduled start time of 5:20 PM.
