TC CHEER COMPETES AT NATIONALS. Triton Central’s cheerleading team took the national stage January 30 as they competed in the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort. Facing elite competition from across the country, the Tigers performed their Game Day routine in the Prelim – Group C division. Triton Central finished 13th in preliminaries and did not advance to the finals round. The UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship, held January 30 through February 8, 2026, is one of the most prestigious cheer events in the nation, drawing top programs from coast to coast. Simply qualifying and earning the opportunity to compete at ESPN’s premier athletic venue is a significant accomplishment for any high school program. Triton Central showcased its school spirit, sharp motions, and crowd-leading energy throughout its Game Day performance, representing the school and community with pride on a national platform.
