TC GIRLS WRESTLING REPRESENTED BY GRAY AT STATE FINALS. Triton Central junior Zoie Gray capped off another outstanding season Friday at the IHSAA girls wrestling state finals at Corteva Coliseum inside the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, earning an eighth-place finish at 190 pounds. Entering the tournament ranked No. 3 in the state and undefeated at 29–0, Gray opened the state finals with an impressive pinfall victory over Central Noble’s Ellie Clevenger in the first round Friday afternoon. Gray then battled through three tough matches against the state’s top competition, ultimately finishing eighth overall in one of the deepest weight classes in the tournament. The state finals appearance marked Gray’s second consecutive trip to the sport’s biggest stage. She closes her junior season with a 30–3 record and a top-eight finish in the state.
